Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month
Each May, during National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month, the SC Campaign joins organizations across the country to raise awareness about teen pregnancy prevention. While South Carolina teen birth rates have declined by 67% from 1991-2016, our state still has the 16th highest teen birth rate in the United States (2015). In order to bring attention to this critical issue, we hosts events in various regions of the state during the month of May.
