Member of SC Campaign's Partner Organization Honored with Health Services Advocacy Award

Trista Anderson, Prevention Coordinator for Piedmont Care in Spartanburg received USC Upstate's Health Services Advocacy Award on April 15.
This award goes to external partners who have gone above and beyond in their work with students to raise awareness, educate, and build capacity related to specific issues. Trista was honored for her support and leadership in the prevention of HIV, teen pregnancy, and other STIs on USC Upstate’s campus.
Piedmont Care is the nonprofit, 501c3, organization providing HIV and AIDS care, prevention and advocacy in Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union counties of South Carolina. They provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS and their families and prevention/education services to the community. Piedmont Care has taken the lead on condom distribution in Spartanburg over the past three years.
