Summer Institute 2018
Summer Institute is one of the premiere teen pregnancy prevention conferences in the nation. Each year, over 300 teen pregnancy prevention professionals from around the state gather to learn new information, network, share ideas, and discuss successes and challenges. The three-day event will be packed with innovative sessions, interactive presentations, and engaging speakers. Attendees will be eligible for continuing education units (CEUs).

JUNE 5–7, 2018 — The South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy will host its 19th annual teen pregnancy prevention conference at the Marriott downtown Columbia.
What will participants learn?
Participants will gain new tools and insights on topics such as:
- Teen pregnancy and STI/HIV prevention
- Implementing community programs
- Engaging and empowering youth
- Supporting pregnant and parenting teens
- Working with diverse populations
- Collaborating across communities
- Leadership and sustainability

Health professionals, social workers, counselors, teachers, nurses, youth-serving professionals, and students studying related fields.
Summer Institute 2018 will be held at the Columbia Marriott located at 1200 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
