Training Description

Come get certified in Safer Choices: Preventing HIV, Other STD, and Pregnancy! This multi-component, school-based,evidence-based program designed to prevent HIV, STDs, and pregnancy among high-school youth promotes school and community-wide change. Research shows youth who participated in Safer Choices delayed their initiation of sexual activity, increased their condom use and other protection against pregnancy if they were sexually active, and they reduced their number of sexual partners with whom they had unprotected sex if sexually active.

Target Audience: Teachers, CHEA Coordinators, and Safer Choices School Health Promotion Council Members/Site Coordinators/Peer Coordinators

$500 (includes registration + revised edition curriculum)
