Thank you for your interest in getting involved with the SC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and the important task of protecting our state's most valuable resource...our children.
The SC Campaign relies on the generous support of individuals, private businesses, foundations and both state and local funding sources to make a difference in our state's teen pregnancy rates. Achieving reductions in teen pregnancy rates will take a sustained commitment and investment in young people.
How will my donation make a difference?
Your support allows the SC Campaign to:
- Provide education and resources to meet the needs of teen pregnancy prevention and other youth-serving professionals.
- Provide mini-grants to local teen pregnancy prevention organizations to implement research proven prevention programs.
- Communicate with members of the SC House and Senate to keep them abreast of teen pregnancy and related issues.
- Engage faith communities to address the topics of teen sex, pregnancy, and parenthood within the context of their own faith.
- Help parents understand the critical role they play in shaping their children's decisions about sex.
- Host the best teen pregnancy prevention conference in the country - our annual Summer Institute which is now in its 11th year.
- Provide intensive public awareness efforts and media outreach.
- Stay up-to-date on cutting edge research and distribute information through fact sheets, bound publications, and research briefs.
